Miss White Had a Fright Song Card

Boo! Today’s folk song is a surprising and… tasty? delight! Miss White had a Fright is everything silly and wonderful about a child’s view of Halloween. A ghost eating toast? are you kidding me!? Too fun. This folk song concludes our Halloween/spooky folk songs for the year, and I’ll be back to sharing some general folk songs in the coming weeks. Thanks for allowing me to indulge in the FUN of the season. I’ve really loved sharing all these fun folk songs and activities for our little friends!

This folk song is a fairly rhythmically basic chant, which provides a lot of opportunities for rhythm work and perhaps even some percussive instrument play? How fun! I’ve also included instructions for a simple game to play along with the folk song, although the game is not original to the folk song. Perhaps you could work together to see if there is a way to incorporate a lamp post and even the slice of toast, which is definitely giving main character energy and deserves a place in the game, haha!
